LaShakia Moore
Superintendent LaShakia Moore has a long and illustrious association with Flagler Schools.
She began her career with Flagler Schools 15 years ago, first as a teacher, then as a teacher support colleague at Rymfire Elementary School. She spent a year as a curriculum specialist with the district’s Teaching and Learning Department. Moore was then selected to become principal at Rymfire Elementary School. In 2021, she returned to Teaching and Learning as director. A year later, she was promoted to Assistant Superintendent for Academic Services. The School Board unanimously appointed her Superintendent of Flagler Schools on September 5, 2023.
Superintendent's Office
The Superintendent's Office provides administrative leadership and direction for the school district under policies adopted by the school board. The office develops and implements strategic plans to ensure that the district operates effectively and achieves its goals.
